Saber Marionette J Collection 1
* While playing the Music Video on the second disk, if you select the first subtitle track, you'll see English translation of the lyrics, if you choose the second subtitle track, you'll see the romaji version, and if you choose the third subtitle track, you'll see the lyrics in Japanese characters.
Saber Marionette J Collection 2
* Like Volume 1, the music video on the second Saber Marionette J set (Cherry Musical Circuit) contains translated lyrics, Romaji, and raw Japanese captions as subtitle tracks accessible via manual selection of the tracks (but strangely, not via the disc menu).
Saber Marionette J Collection 3
* To access a mini documentary of sub characters (top ten), wait for the menu to load at least twice (let the main menu run a couple of times, undisturbed), then it will let you access the red orb on the upper right.
* On the first disc, go into Setup first. You don't have to change anything. You can just go in and exit back out to the Main menu. Press right from Play. This will cause the signal lamp that is unobscured to light up. Press enter and you get a live-action segment titled "Japones Headline" with Megumi Hayashibara.
* Click the j in the SMJ logo in the top left corner after visiting setup or letting the background video play once The subtitles thing on the music videos is also present as in previous volumes.
* On the first disk, just go to "title #12", and you will get a creditless opening & ending.

Serial Experiments Lain Vol. #1
* All four Serial Experiments Lain DVD's have hidden pieces on the main menu by just hitting up on your remote. |
Speed Racer Limited Edition Vol. #1
* These extras have nothing to do with Speed Racer, but they are great anyway! On the trivia game, answer question 5 correctly (it's not hard). At the congratulations screen, instead of pushing "next", press the up arrow on your remote. You'll highlight the Mammoth Car, which is lurking in the background. Press enter and you'll get three vintage 50's animated commercials (for paint, bug spray, and milk)! Plus, answer all 10 questions right on the quiz itself, and you'll get to see a breathtaking adventure involving obscure 50's animated hero, Col. Bleep (if you're a Ren and Stimpy fan, you'll love this)!

(You'll see a line appear under Extra Credit here.) Press left one more time, then press enter. You'll be taken to an amusing clip with Hibiki in Arucard (from Hellsing) mode. This doesn't work on the menu's first load - it only works on the looping portion of the menu (with Fuko's head rotating in the logo on the right). You'll need to select something in the menu, then go back first. This is also accessible by hitting menu item 24 on the remote.
Strawberry Eggs Vol. #2
* Go down to 7th Period. Once there, hit left, down, right, right, down, up, left, left, and then enter. This will bring you to "Bench Talk: What If".
